Bob Weinstein is "mortified and disgusted" at the actions of his "sick and depraved" older brother—and he wants Harvey Weinstein to get "the justice he deserves." Bob tells the Hollywood Reporter that he knew Harvey was a philanderer, but he "had no idea about the type of predator that he was." He says he has been in a "waking nightmare" since the scandal exploded. Bob says he has long been "divorced" from Harvey, who has an "emptiness inside him" and a "sickness that's inexcusable." Bob, who co-founded The Weinstein Company with Harvey and is a member of the board that fired him, says the company is going to endure, but with a new name—one that won't have the Weinstein name. In other developments:

  • Another accuser. Angie Everhart has added her name to the long list of women accusing Weinstein of sexual assault or harassment. The model tells Page Six that she was napping on a boat during the Cannes Film Festival when she awoke to find Weinstein standing over her, masturbating. She says that when she told other people on the boat what had happened, "Everybody was like, 'Oh, that’s just Harvey.'"

  • Business as usual?. Bob Weinstein says "banks, partners, and shareholders are fully supportive" and business is "continuing as usual" at The Weinstein Company, despite reports that it could soon be closed or sold.
  • Emergency Academy meeting. The 54-member board of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is meeting Saturday to discuss Weinstein. The New York Times reports that there is a good chance he could be expelled from the academy, something that didn't happen to Roman Polanski or Bill Cosby. Bob Weinsten says he fully supports kicking Harvey out.
  • Fashion pressure. Actress Felicity Huffman says Weinstein threatened to pull promotion for her movie Transamerica if she didn't wear clothes designed by his wife, Marchesa co-founder Georgina Chapman. Publicists have said Weinstein made similar threats to other actresses.
  • "Heartbroken" Tarantino. Variety reports that Quentin Tarantino broke his silence Friday on the allegations against his longtime collaborator. In a statement issued through a tweet from actress Amber Tamblyn, Tarantino said he was "stunned and heartbroken" and would say more after a "few more days to process my pain, emotions, anger, and memory."
  • Vote delayed. The Producers Guild of America had planned to vote Saturday on expelling Weinstein, but the group says it has delayed the vote until Monday "to ensure confidentiality of its proceedings." Sources tell Deadline that the vote is expected to be near-unanimous in favor of expulsion.
