Yet another woman has accused Jeremy Piven of sexual misconduct, this time on the set of the show that made him a star. Anastasia Taneie tells BuzzFeed News that Piven forced himself on her when she was a background actor on HBO's Entourage in April 2009. Taneie, who is now 30, says Piven approached her and others during a break from shooting in Los Angeles and told her he and his manager wanted to talk to her. But while walking her down a dark hallway, Taneie says, Piven pushed her against a wall and grabbed her breasts and genitals. She says Piven only stopped when an assistant director walked by. He then told the AD to have Taneie removed from the set for making a pass at him. Several on-the-record witnesses confirm that Taneie was crying after the encounter, and more than one person say she told them what had happened.
Over the last few weeks, several women have accused Piven of sexual harassment or assault. On Oct. 30, Ariane Bellamar tweeted that Piven groped her on the Entourage set, and actress Cassidy Freeman, actress Amy Meador, adult-film actress Isis Taylor, and advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby have all made accusations of misconduct. Piven has denied any wrongdoing, and last week he voluntarily took a polygraph test related to three of the claims and a blanket test about sexual assault. He was said to have passed the tests with "no signs of deception," the Independent reports. (More Jeremy Piven stories.)
