"Along with the nightly sexual harassment, he eroded my confidence, my dignity," Kathryn Rossetter writes in the Hollywood Reporter. "He humiliated and demeaned me. He robbed me of my joy in the experience and he left dirty fingerprints on my soul." Rossetter is the most recent woman to accuse Dustin Hoffman of sexual harassment and assault (read the first accuser's story here). She says Hoffman was instrumental in getting her a role in Death of a Salesman on Broadway in 1983 despite her young age. "He was my hero," she writes. But performing with Hoffman would turn into "a horrific, demoralizing, and abusive experience" that left her "acting by day and crying by night."

Rossetter says it started with Hoffman, shirtless, requesting a back rub. She says he would constantly put his hand up her slip while they were offstage, and "one night he actually started to stick his fingers inside me." Rossetter says Hoffman regularly called her to his dressing room for foot rubs and tried to get her to move further up his leg to his genitals. At one point, he called the crew backstage during a performance and lifted her slip over her head, revealing her breasts to them, she says. When posing for a photo, Rossetter says Hoffman would grab her breast just before it was taken then quickly remove his hand in time to not get caught by the camera. But once he wasn't quick enough; that picture is published with Rossetter's story. "It seems I'm complicit with the gesture. I was not. Not ever," she writes. She says she was warned that reporting Hoffman would ruin her career. Read Rossetter's full story here. (More Dustin Hoffman stories.)
