In the beginning, there was "The Air That I Breathe" by the Hollies back in the 1970s. Twenty years later, Radiohead put out "Creep." The Hollies thought it sounded familiar and sued, the result being that Radiohead now shares royalties and song-writing credits with the older group, per the Guardian. Now, 25 years later, Radiohead itself is suing Lana Del Rey over her song "Get Free," saying it's too similar to "Creep."

"It’s true about the lawsuit," Del Rey tweeted, confirming rumors that sprang up over the weekend, reports the BBC. "Although I know my song wasn’t inspired by Creep, Radiohead feel it was and want 100% of the publishing - I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court." Radiohead has not commented on the controversy. (More Lana Del Rey stories.)
