The women were some of the first to speak up about Harvey Weinstein—and now they're speaking up to say they were excluded from the Golden Globes. "I can only speak for myself but not only I wasn’t invited to the #GoldenGlobes: nobody asked my opinion about #TIMESUP or to sign the letter," Asia Argento tweeted early Monday. "I support @TIMESUPNOW even though I was excluded from it. Guess I am not POWERFUL or HOLLYWOOD enough. Proud to work behind the scenes." Page Six notes that she later tweeted a theory on why: "It would have been too much of a downer... an embarrassment. Victims aren’t glamorous enough." And she wasn't the only Weinstein victim who said her invitation got lost in the mail.

Rosanna Arquette tweeted, "No we weren't invited. Annabella [Sciorra], Daryl [Hannah], Mira [Sorvino] ... none of us were." Rose McGowan addressed things in a more roundabout (but customarily blunt) way, in a reply to a tweet from Argento that began by saying, "No one should forget that you were the first one who broke the silence." Replied McGowan, "And not one of those fancy people wearing black to honor our rapes would have lifted a finger had it not been so. I have no time for Hollywood fakery, but you I love, @AsiaArgento." The Daily Beast reports McGowan continued to lash out at an allegedly complicit Hollywood on Tuesday, tweeting an image of a flier for Time's Up gatherings being hosted by talent agency CAA, which she called "the company of pimps that sent so many into ... the Monster’s Lair themselves."
