Little Katherine Kaling likely received many thoughtful presents after mom Mindy Kaling gave birth to her in December. But it was the contents of a U-Haul truck sent by Kaling's Wrinkle in Time co-star Oprah Winfrey that the Mindy Project creator is now calling "the most amazing gift." Kaling and Winfrey chatted with USA Today about Oprah's special delivery, which Kaling initially thought would just be a nice batch of flowers. But when Oprah told her two guys would be showing up at her home in a moving truck, Kaling decided to play hooky from work to see what she was getting.

Inside the U-Haul: a "handcarved bookcase, prettier than any professional dollhouse you had ever seen," Kaling says, along with 100 classic children's books, with "Katherine's Book Club" appearing on each tome. Winfrey says she was slightly disappointed on how the bookcase came out, as she'd wanted it to look like the treehouse Kaling's character hunkers down in in the movie. "Now it only looks like a beautiful castle," Kaling teased Winfrey. (More Mindy Kaling stories.)
