A Florida woman who attacked her husband for forgetting their wedding anniversary has been charged with domestic battery, police in Pasco County say. Police say 35-year-old Zephyrhills resident Carol Stone "smacked the victim multiple times" in the head and face, leaving red marks, and pushed him to the ground in what started out as a verbal argument about his failure to acknowledge the anniversary, Fox 13 reports.
The husband recorded the altercation on his cellphone and Stone was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge after he showed police the footage Wednesday, reports the Tampa Bay Times. Police say Stone admitted that she "flipped" after her husband forgot the date. (This couple ran into trouble at their wedding.)
