The Beatles still have it. The Guardian reports that over 350 never-before-seen photos of the band have sold for a whopping $357,936 (give or take a few dollars in the exchange rate) at auction in the UK. The photos were taken by 18-year-old Mike Mitchell in 1964 during The Beatles' first concerts in the US. He saw the band perform on The Ed Sullivan show and was taking photos of them in DC two nights later, according to the BBC. “I was very motivated to come up with stuff that was as unique as could possibly be," Mitchell says. He had to use natural light to photograph the band because he couldn't afford a flash. Also sold at auction—for around $61,000—was a Mercedes AMG bought by George Harrison in 1984.
