Seth Rogen and Paul Ryan aren't exactly pals. In fact, they're not even in a photo together. Appearing Friday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Rogen told the story of how Ryan's sons approached him for a photo earlier this month at an event hosted by Mitt Romney, CNN reports. "And then they said, 'Our dad wants to meet you,' and I turned around and Paul Ryan was walking towards me," says the comic actor. "My whole body, puckered, as it were, I tensed up, and I didn't know what to do." That's when Ryan shook Rogen's hand and asked for a photo, and Rogen replied: "No way, man!"

"And I couldn't stop, and I said, 'Furthermore, I hate what you're doing to the country at this point and I count the days until you no longer have one iota of the power that you currently have." Rogen admits to feeling "very conflicted" about his words since Ryan's sons were "still standing right there," adding, "It's not their fault, but at the same time they should probably learn that if they like a movie or song, the person who made that probably doesn't like their dad that much." Rogen took heat for it on Fox & Friends, where Pete Hegseth said celebrities have "lost so much respect" these days, per Fox News. "You talk about coastal elites, there you have it," he said. (See Rogen tell the story starting at roughly 3:50 in this video.)
