Hair today, gone … by the fourth inning? That's what happened with the Houston Astros' Alex Bregman Sunday during his team's game against the Kansas City Royals. MLB.com reports the third baseman got a walk in the second inning, then didn't come to the plate again until the fourth inning, at which point some people noticed he looked … different. Bregman had shaved his mustache (see the comparison photos here), with the Astros' Instagram account noting: "Sometimes you just need to switch things up." If you're seeking profound answers to this MLB mystery, you won't get very far with Bregman himself. After the game, when asked about the hair-removing happening, Bregman told KTRK, "I just shaved it." (More Houston Astros stories.)
