Stormy Daniels is in the news for a reason other than her alleged 2006 affair with now-president Donald Trump: Her husband has filed for divorce. Glendon Crain, who wed Daniels (real name Stephanie Clifford) in 2015, filed the petition on July 18 in Texas, the AP reports. Crain, who also goes by Brendon Miller, is a heavy metal drummer; he also, like Daniels, works in the adult film industry, Bustle reported in March. In his filing, he cites adultery as the grounds for divorce and seeks sole custody of his 7-year-old daughter with Daniels. He also wants child support from Daniels, a financial award, and a disproportionate share of their community property.

TMZ reports that a judge granted Crain a temporary restraining order against Daniels, which he requested when he filed for divorce. According to the gossip site, the order also keeps Daniels from her daughter, which Crain argued was necessary because, he says, she wanted to bring the girl on tour with her and the child would have been on a bus with other adult performers. At a hearing Friday, Crain will attempt to have the order made permanent. Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tweeted Monday that the couple mutually "decided to end their marriage. A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed. Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority. She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family."
