A YouTube star driving the wrong way on a California freeway Thursday smashed into an SUV and took three lives, including his own. Trevor Heitmann, 18, was apparently in a troubled state when he drove his sports car south on the northbound I-805 and killed Aileen Pizarro, 43, and her daughter Aryana, 12, per NBC San Diego and the San Diego Tribune. Police had responded to Heitmann's home in Sea Knoll Court earlier that day after his dad said the teen sped off, hitting another car; seems Heitmann then smashed through the gate of an elementary school and broke a window before driving away, per Fox 5. Known online as "McSkillet," Heitmann had gotten rich on video gaming but lost access to some income when a publisher banned him from the practice of "skin gambling," the Wrap explains.

His 2015 British McLaren 650S, which costs around $250,000, "could have been going over 100 mph" when it "disintegrated" on impact with the SUV, says a CHP officer. Pizarro and her daughter were going to Orange County to get contact lenses for Aryana when their lives suddenly ended. "I lost it" upon hearing the news, says Pizarro's 22-year-old son, Dominic. He tells Fox 5: "Best little sister a brother could ask for. She loved without question. Unconditional support." Pizarro's boyfriend called her "an incredibly bright and beautiful person" who could "raise three kids and put herself through school to get her masters—by herself—just to give them the best she can give them." Pizarro's family has created a GoFundMe page for funeral costs and other expenses. (More car accident stories.)
