Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino of Jersey Shore fame found out Friday he'll have to spend 8 months in prison for tax evasion, reports TMZ. The 36-year-old will be on supervised probation for two years upon his release, and he also must pay a $10,000 fine on top of $124,000 of restitution already paid, reports People. Sorrentino and brother Marc pleaded guilty earlier this year to various tax charges. Marc got two years in prison.

Sorrentino had plenty of support in court in New Jersey on Friday. In addition to his fiancee, Lauren Pesce, the old Jersey Shore gang showed up, reports US Weekly. That would be Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, and Angelina Pivarnick. Asked if he had a message to his fans by reporters afterward, Sorrentino flashed the peace sign. (More Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino stories.)
