Hillary Clinton says President Trump turned Brett Kavanaugh's ceremonial swearing-in at the White House Monday night into a "political rally." At what the Washington Post refers to as a "boisterous" event, Trump apologized to the newest Supreme Court justice "on behalf of our nation" for what he called "a campaign of political and personal destruction based on lies and deception" Kavanaugh endured during the confirmation process. In an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN Tuesday, Clinton accused Trump of "further undermin[ing] the image and integrity of the court" with his behavior. Asked by a reporter about Clinton's accusation, Trump replied, "I guess that’s why she lost. She doesn’t get it." (More Hillary Clinton stories.)
