The spectacle of the Ariana Grande-Pete Davidson breakup may outlast the actual relationship: Grande dropped a single Saturday night, 30 minutes before Davidson was to appear on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, reports BuzzFeed, and in a single verse of "Thank U, Next," called out to a laundry list of exes. "Thought I'd end up with Sean/But it wasn't a match/Wrote some songs about Ricky/Now I listen and laugh/Even almost got married/And for Pete, I'm so thankful/Wish I could say, 'Thank you' to Malcolm/'Cause he was an angel." The latter is a reference to Mac Miller, who died of a drug overdose in September. Davidson, for his part, on SNL called Grande "a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world." The exes seemed a little more tense earlier in the week.
