Politics | Hillary Clinton Hillary Vows to Go 'Full Speed' to White House She appeals for campaign money, sounds triumphant note By John Johnson Posted May 6, 2008 10:09 PM CDT Copied Sen. (AP Photo/Darron Cummings) Though she lost in North Carolina and was locked in a race too close to call in Indiana, Hillary Clinton remained unbowed tonight while addressing supporters, NBC reports. Noting that Barack Obama predicted she'd win Pennsylvania, he'd win North Carolina, and that Indiana would be a "tie-breaker," she declared victory in the state and said the triumph would propel her "full speed" to the White House. She appealed for more money and echoed Obama's confidence that the party will unite behind a candidate. "Now it is on to West Virginia, Kentucky, and the other states," Clinton said. She added that she will be campaigning hard in the remaining states and intends to "win them in November." With the mathematics of the race increasingly working against her, Clinton renewed her appeal for the votes in Florida and Michigan to be counted.
