Adults in New Jersey might be less embarrassed than most to utter the words, "I live with my parents." That's because the state hosts a higher percentage of young adults living with one or two parents than any other state in the country, per North Jersey Record, which surveyed census data from 2017. It showed 47% of New Jersey residents aged 18 to 34 still lived with their parents. On the opposite pole is North Dakota.
