Authorities say a deputy in Florida has killed his wife, his daughter, and his granddaughter before turning the gun on himself, the AP reports. During a Wednesday afternoon news conference, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said that Terry Strawn, a school security officer, shot his wife and 6-year-old granddaughter, then went to his daughter's house and shot her. Chronister says Strawn went on the department's main radio channel to say he'd harmed his family and then fatally shot himself outside a nearby high school. Strawn used his service revolver. Strawn was a deputy from 1991 until his retirement in 2017. He was rehired as a school security officer in 2018. (A Coast Guardsman killed his wife and their 7-year-old son.)
