It's "the first detailed account" of the alleged incident that has Kevin Spacey facing a count of sexual assault, and it mentions video. MassLive reports on a Massachusetts State Police investigative report detailing the allegations made by the 18-year-old son of WCVB news anchor Heather Unruh. The report states that Unruh's son texted his girlfriend to say Spacey was hitting on him; when she replied that she didn't believe him, he reportedly took a Snapchat video of Spacey touching him near the end of what was allegedly a minutes-long assault and sent it to her as proof, reports NBC News. As for the alleged assault itself, the teen says it occurred on July 7, 2016, when he was working a bus-boy shift at the Club Car restaurant in Nantucket. Spacey was a customer that night, and the teen was introduced to him at the end of his shift. He told police he gave his age as 23, and accepted a drink.
He recalled having as many as five beers before Spacey suggested they switch to whiskey as they sang at the piano. Things then allegedly turned sexual, with Spacey telling the teen to stop texting his girlfriend and shared details of the size of his penis. When smoking a cigarette around 1am, Spacey then allegedly repeatedly invited the teen back to his place; the teen told police "he saw that comment as a red flag" and declined. When they reentered the restaurant, the teen told police Spacey started rubbing his leg then unzipped his pants and touched him without consent. He told police he was fearful of reacting because he was drinking underage and didn't want to get in trouble at work. He reported the alleged assault on Oct. 31, 2016, predating the start of the #MeToo movement, and talked to state police Nov. 22, 2017, at which point the investigation began to proceed. Spacey will be arraigned Jan. 7. (More Kevin Spacey stories.)
