Kelsey Berreth's parents faced down the man suspected of killing their daughter in court on Thursday and were awarded temporary custody of their 14-month-old granddaughter. Kaylee, the daughter of Berreth and Patrick Frazee, has been staying with her maternal grandparents since Frazee's Dec. 21 arrest in Colorado on suspicion of murder. Now, however, it appears that a custody dispute is brewing. Frazee's mother has since filed an unspecified motion of her own, reports Fox News. The girl will remain with Berreth's parents until at least Jan. 3, when the custody case will be back in court, reports the Denver Post. As of now, the Teller County Department of Human Services retains legal custody of the child. (Evidence in the case has been found in Idaho.)
