"Be prepared to be moved." That was Kris Jenner's notice on Instagram over the weekend for her "brave and vulnerable" daughter Kendall, with the elder Jenner plugging an upcoming announcement that promised a "most raw story" from Kendall. That, of course, set off a series of speculation online, per Vanity Fair, with some wondering if Kendall's big reveal would be about a mental health issue or other big news about her personal life. It turns out Vulture, despite its jokey list of "wild conjectures," actually hit on the answer with one of its musings, confirmed Sunday evening with a tweet by Proactiv. "Welcome to the family, dahling!" the skin-care company posted. "@KendallJenner is the new face of Proactiv."
Jenner responded with a RT of the Proactiv tweet and a heart emoji. "A lot of people have seen me struggling with acne, mostly through paparazzi photos or the Golden Globes," she tells People. "I had exhausted all other options and [decided to] try Proactiv. It really worked for me." That may be exactly why the Proactiv-Jenner tweets were scheduled to hit right during the Golden Globes' red carpet Sunday night, as some had giggled at her appearance with acne clearly present at last year's awards show. Her response then: "Never let that s--- stop you." The 23-year-old reality star explained in the video her mom posted to Instagram that she felt she could make a difference to teens suffering with acne. "I can speak to so many people and just be like, I can help you, and it's OK," she said. "I experience it, I'm very normal. ... I understand you. Like, I can connect with you."
