Cardi B Makes Gaffe About the Late Tom Petty

Cardi B thanked Tom Petty for sending her flowers after her big win at the Grammys, puzzling everybody who was aware that the rocker died in 2017. People reports that in a now-deleted Instagram post, Cardi B said "Thank you Tom Petty for the flowers," adding that she wanted to thank him for the "beautiful note" as well. The confusion may have been caused by the fact that the bouquet came with a lyric from Petty's song "Walls (Circus)"—"You've got a big heart. So big it could crush this town"—with his name below it, reports Entertainment Tonight.
