If you failed to notice the large orb in Monday’s sky, there's still time to catch what's touted as the biggest and brightest full moon of the year. The Super Snow Moon—the name given to the full moon closest to Earth in its orbit in the month of February—will peak Tuesday at 10:54am ET, though Tuesday evening will provide some of the best viewing, per People. Moonrise is ideal, per CNN, as objects on the horizon make the moon look larger than it really is. Albert Dros at PetaPixel shares more viewing and photography tips, as well as photos of the super moon, 96% visible, rising above Amsterdam on Monday. The next super moon will arrive March 19.
