There's a new Instagram queen, and Selena Gomez doesn't care. Ariana Grande has nabbed the crown of the most followed woman on the social media site. Mashable puts her tally at more than 146,355,000 followers, with Gomez behind by about 60,000. Grande has added more than 13 million users just since October, reports Elle. Gomez, meanwhile, only returned to Instagram last month after a four-month social media hiatus.

"Numbers don't matter," Gomez said last fall. "I don't care how many followers I have. I don't. It's insane so many people are obsessed. Like, chill out." Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo leads among all users with just shy of 156 million followers. Grande, who posts multiple times a day, celebrated another milestone with her Instagram fans a week ago, when she became the first artist since the Beatles to occupy the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. (See why she missed the Grammys.)
