Michael Cohen's expected testimony in front of the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday was released late Tuesday, and USA Today reports that President Trump responded in the middle of the night due to the time difference with Hanoi, Vietnam, where he's opening his second summit with Kim Jong Un. "Michael Cohen was one of many lawyers who represented me (unfortunately)," Trump tweeted at around 4am Eastern time. "He had other clients also. He was just disbarred by the State Supreme Court for lying & fraud." Trump then continued to discredit his former "fixer," adding, "He did bad things unrelated to Trump. He is lying in order to reduce his prison time. Using Crooked's lawyer!"

That final reference is likely about Lanny Davis, Cohen's attorney who represented former President Clinton on multiple occasions in the '90s. Trump also noted another topic he's supposedly been discussing "with Vietnamese leaders": Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal. "I have now spent more time in Vietnam than Da Nang Dick Blumenthal, the third rate Senator from Connecticut (how is Connecticut doing?)," Trump tweeted shortly before his Cohen tweet. "His war stories of his heroism in Vietnam were a total fraud - he was never even there." (Read more of Cohen's "explosive" opening remarks here.)
