Chipotle might Venmo you some money if you sign up for its new rewards program. The fast food chain, which says its customers have long desired a loyalty program, launched one in September that is expanding nationwide as of Tuesday, per a press release. Chipotle is publicizing it by giving away $250,000. Between Tuesday and Friday, about 25,000 people per day who sign up for the program will win between $1 and $500; Chipotle will send the money through Venmo along with a link to the rewards program. CNN reports that the chain is hoping people will see their friends getting the payments on Venmo's social feed and click through out of curiosity—then sign up themselves.

"Venmo, to us, is becoming an untapped social network," says the company's CTO; the press release notes that Chipotle is one of the most mentioned brands on the platform. If you want to try and snag some free cash, sign up here or via the Chipotle app. Even if you don't score a big cash reward, everyone who signs up gets free chips and guac after making their first purchase, free entrees after every 1,250 points earned, and surprise birthday rewards. (Chipotle's latest scandal had nothing to do with foodborne illnesses.)
