"A total loser!" That was President Trump's response Tuesday to George Conway's pokes at his mental health. The president's three-word tweet linked to another tweet by Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale asserting that Conway was jealous of his wife's success as a senior White House aide. Conway quickly shot back, saying Trump's response "guaranteed that millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism!"—but the fray didn't end there, per NBC News. Conway went on to retweet Republican Bill Kristol, who'd written that it was "better to 'lose' with honor than 'win' with Trump." Conway added, "Yes. Any day, every day."

George Conway also disputed Parscale's assertion that Trump "turned down Mr. Kellyanne Conway for a job he desperately wanted" and "doesn't even know him!" Conway was reportedly being considered for a job in the Justice Department in early 2017 but later said he'd withdrawn because it was "not the right time for me to leave the private sector." And the Washington Post previously reported that it was Conway who introduced his wife to Trump. "Okay, so they lie. We knew that already. Yawn," Conway tweeted Tuesday. Parscale only doubled down: "The establishment mainstream media wants you to believe this lie. POTUS couldn't pick him out of a lineup," he tweeted, prompting Conway to "LOL."
