If you have Rolling Stones tickets, or were planning on buying them in the near future, there's been an important development. Rolling Stone reports the band's upcoming North American tour, including 17 concerts from April 20 to July 29, has been postponed due to issues tied to frontman Mick Jagger. "Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment," the band said in a statement Saturday morning. "The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."
There's been no word on what exactly is wrong with Jagger, who put out his own message. "I really hate letting you down like this," he posted on Instagram. "I'm devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can." The tour's promoters say tickets to these postponed concerts will be valid for the eventually rescheduled ones, and that fans should hold onto them. (More Rolling Stones stories.)
