A collegiate gymnast thinks everyone has seen the video of her breaking her legs in a meet last week quite enough. "My pain is not your entertainment," Samantha Cerio tweeted, USA Today reports. Cerio, a senior at Auburn, dislocated her knees and ruptured ligaments during her floor routine on Friday. She was trying to do a handspring double front when she landed awkwardly on the mat, then fell back, per NBC. She's in a hospital now after undergoing surgery.
"Those of you posting and tagging me in the video of my injury, I am asking you to please stop," Cerio posted. "I have family, friends and teammates who do not need to see me getting injured over and over again." She posted on Instagram that she's retiring from gymnastics. Her coach told Today that Cerio is getting married in two months and plans to walk down the aisle that day. (More gymnastics stories.)
