A Massachusetts man has filed a civil lawsuit against actor Kevin Spacey, whom he accuses of unzipping his pants and groping his genitals during a 2016 encounter. "As a result of defendant Kevin Spacey Fowler's explicit sexual behavior and lewd and lascivious conduct with the plaintiff, the plaintiff suffers, has suffered, and will continue to suffer in the future severe [mental] distress and emotional injuries," reads the lawsuit alleging assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, per the Hollywood Reporter.

Filed Wednesday, the suit is separate from an ongoing criminal case centering on the same July 2016 encounter at a Nantucket bar, where the then-18-year-old accuser was working as a busboy. He says he approached Spacey to get a photo but was fed drinks and fondled for over three minutes, per WCVB. Texts sent to the accuser's girlfriend read, "He's grabbed my d--- like eight times" and "seriously, help." Lawyers for Spacey, who's pleaded not guilty to felony indecent assault and battery, say the texts are "incomplete." (The cellphone in question is missing.)
