(Peter Nicholls/Pool via AP) Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made one of their first joint outings since introducing baby Archie, and it was to mark the arrival of American royalty of sorts—the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees making Major League Baseball's debut across the pond. The Boston Globe reports that Markle got to meet a very distant cousin in Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts, who pointed out that the two shared ancestors in Alabama 150 years ago. "I didn’t know she was coming. I knew [Prince Harry] was coming," Betts said. "I told her about the story and she laughed and gave me a hug. She didn’t know about it. They probably didn’t believe it." The royals took home personalized onesies for their newborn from both teams; no word if he's picked an allegiance. (More Meghan Markle stories.) Report an error
