A free climber in London has scaled one of the tallest buildings in Europe. The man who climbed The Shard in London Monday morning was spoken to by police after he made his ascent but hasn't been arrested, per the AP. The building is 1,017 feet high, and the unidentified climber is thought to have achieved the feat without using suction cups or ropes, per the BBC, which has a photo of the climber in action. By comparison, the Empire State Building has a roof height of 1,250 feet. "Fortunately no one was hurt by this dangerous activity and we will be assisting the police with their investigation," says a spokesman for the company that manages the building.
