An alleged felon is making headlines after he was charged with 10 felonies and 2 misdemeanors over less than 30 minutes in a one-block radius, the Daily News reports. Rodney Edward King Jr, 29, is accused of committing crimes against seven people in Columbus, Ohio, one morning last week. "During a half hour time span, this man went from one location to the next, within a one block radius, committing multiple felonies against seven different victims," says a Franklin County prosecutor.
Police say King robbed residents in "five random apartments or homes," threw a rock at a cab after he couldn't get in, then boarded a municipal bus and attacked the driver with a screwdriver, taking a swing before hitting the driver in the foot. Several calls brought in the police and he was quickly arrested, per CNN. Among King's charges are aggravated menacing, felonious assault, aggravated robbery, and aggravated burglary. He's due in a Columbus court on Monday. (More crime stories.)
