The "fastest rapper of all time" isn't too fast for Amber Galloway Gallego. The sign language interpreter with memorable magenta hair is drawing raves for her ability to keep up with Twista at a Saturday concert in North Carolina, the New York Post reports. A tweeted clip of her fast fingers has been viewed 1.4 million times and drew praise like "she's insanely fire" and "I wish I went this hard at anything." Gallego is "the real MVP for keeping up wit me," tweeted Twista, who was declared the world's fastest rapper by FiveThirtyEight in 2014 after whipping off 280 words in a single minute.

The Charlotte crowd also went wild for Gallego's handiwork, but admiration is hardly new for her. Vibe dubbed the 42-year-old the "Jay-Z of Hip-Hop Sign Language" in 2014 and noted her history of "interpreting for legendary artists" like the Black Keys, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Madonna, the Rolling Stones, and Cher. She's also a motivational speaker and advocate for the deaf who gave a Ted Talk in 2018 called "How Sign Language Can Bring Music to Life." As she once said on YouTube, "Deaf people have value. Don't discount them." (In related news, a jury ruled that a huge pop star stole improperly copied from a rap song.)
