Boris Johnson may have a rocky road ahead steering the UK through Brexit, but at the end of the day he's got a furball waiting at home for him. The British prime minister and his partner, Carrie Symonds, adopted a male Jack Russell puppy from a Welsh rescue outfit on Monday, reports the AP. The Friends of Animals Wales charity says they are "absolutely overjoyed" that the "wonky" puppy has found such devoted owners. The charity says: "This little man will want for nothing in his life, what could be better than that?" It was not immediately clear what Larry—the often-photographed resident cat of Downing Street—will think of the new arrival, who has yet to be named. (More Boris Johnson stories.)
