The parents of the British teen killed in an August crash involving a US woman who is reportedly married to an American diplomat have given their first stateside interview, and they tell CBS News that 19-year-old Harry Dunn was able to be with his father before he died. Tim Dunn says a friend who is a member of the local fire brigade got word to him after arriving at the scene and Dunn rushed over. "I could see broken bones out of his arms and stuff. But he was talking," said Dunn, choking back tears, adding that his son knew he was there. "I called out to him and said, 'Harry, it's your dad. They're going to fix you. They're going to fix you. Be calm. Let them help you.' He stopped moaning because he was complaining that he couldn't breathe very well, so he sort of calmed then."

Before his son was sedated, Dunn says he said to him, "'Harry, they're going to sedate you now. This is for your best. You're going to be OK. We'll see you later at the hospital,' something I said like that. And then they sedated him and then that was the last time." As for Anne Sacoolas, the woman driving on the wrong side of the road who allegedly struck Harry Dunn's motorcycle, she claimed diplomatic immunity and returned to the US, but released a statement this weekend saying she'd like to meet with Dunn's parents. Dunn's mother, Charlotte Charles, tells CBS she wonders why that statement took so long and says the couple has been advised not to meet with Sacoolas in the US. "We are still very open to meeting her, but it needs to be in a controlled environment in the UK," she said. "It's just she needs to get on the plane. She needs to go back to the UK."
