An Iowa woman is dead after a gender reveal party went very wrong. The Marion County Sheriff's Office says they received a 911 call around 4pm Saturday stating that somebody had been badly injured in an explosion at a home in Knoxville, around 40 miles southeast of Des Moines, NBC reports. The 56-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say their investigation found that the woman was hit by a piece of flying debris from an explosion that was part of the gender reveal announcement, reports the Des Moines Register. (This man had to pay $220,000 after his gender reveal stunt caused a massive wildfire.)
