Get ready for a pair of mega-music tours in 2020, though the news may spur sudden outbursts of "OK, boomer" (and perhaps a less catchy "OK, Gen X"). Rolling Stone reports that Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Poison will embark on a nationwide stadium tour next year, though details on dates and venues haven't yet emerged. The "Motley Crue is back!" news was announced Monday on the band's Twitter feed, which showed the "cessation of touring" contract they say they'd signed years ago being blown up. Motley Crue, whose last public show was Dec. 31, 2015, has toured with Poison in the past, as has Def Leppard. Meanwhile, reaching back in time a little more, the AP reports the Doobie Brothers are hooking up with singer/songwriter Michael McDonald for a 50th anniversary tour in 2020. That tour will kick off June 9 in West Palm Beach, Fla. Ultimate Classic Rock has the full 30-date lineup, which was confirmed when McDonald shocked people by showing up at the Doobie Brothers' concert Monday in Nashville, Tenn., for an encore performance of "Takin' It to the Streets."
