Bruce Lee's daughter is ready to fight over her father's image. Shannon Lee has filed a $30 million lawsuit against a fast-food chain in China that uses her father's image prominently in its logo—or at least it uses the image of a man who looks very much like Bruce Lee in "ready to strike" mode, per Reuters. Shannon Lee, who runs the California-based Bruce Lee Enterprises, says Real Kungfu never asked permission. She not only wants the big payout, she wants the chain to publicly make clear it has no affiliation with the actor.

The chain, however, says it received permission from authorities in China for its logo 15 years ago and has been using it ever since. Both Reuters and the BBC think the case will be closely watched because Beijing has been promising of late to better protect intellectual property rights, one of the issues raised in the recent US-China trade negotiations. (Shannon Lee wasn't thrilled about her father's depiction in Quentin Tarantino's latest movie.)
