Before Kickoff, Players Stand on 24-Yard-Lines, for a Reason

The Super Bowl is here. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are facing off against Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers in Florida. And before football's biggest game, the players for both teams lined up on their 24-yard-lines for a tribute to one of the best players from a different sport. The late Kobe Bryant wore No. 24 his final 10 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, notes the AP. See an image of the tribute here. The tribute also paid respect to the other victims of the helicopter crash in which Bryant was killed. As for the game, those with 7 and 3 in their office pools are happy after the first quarter.
