Baby carriers literally have one job—to carry babies—which is why a recall announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission is particularly alarming. USA Today reports that around 14,000 Infantino baby carriers made in China and sold at Target and through Amazon have been recalled because their buckles may break, posing a risk that the baby inside can fall out. The products yanked back—which have black straps and either a black or gray body—include two versions of the Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier (lot codes 2018 0619 and 2018 0719, sewn on the label inside the carrier), the Flip Front2back Carrier (lot code 2018 0719), and the Up Close Newborn Carrier (also lot code 2018 0719).
