The pushback against Mark Zuckerberg continues: 214 scientists who have received grants from a Chan Zuckerberg Initiative program published a letter they sent the Facebook founder over the weekend. In it, the researchers, about 10% of whom are employed by foundations run by Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, call on Facebook to stop letting President Trump "spread both misinformation and incendiary statements" on the social media platform. The letter specifically calls out Zuckerberg's failure to flag the now-infamous Trump post stating, "when the looting starts, the shooting starts" in reference to unrest following the death of George Floyd at the hands of police, the Guardian reports. Twitter did flag it, and Facebook employees have been protesting Zuckerberg's decision not to. (He may soon change his tune.)
