A tiny pair of socks on a rainbow-colored blanket. That's the picture Ed Sheeran showed as he made the big announcement this week that he and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, are new parents, the BBC reports. "Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter," the 29-year-old singer-songwriter posted on Instagram Tuesday, revealing a name that would make Ernest Shackleton proud: Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. "Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here."

E! Online and CNN note that Sheeran and Seaborn, 28, first met when they were tweens, "were crushing hard on each other" by the time they got to high school, and finally came back together in 2015 at Taylor Swift's Fourth of July party. Sheeran revealed his 2019 marriage to Seaborn via a song lyric: In his "Remember the Name," he croons, "Watch how the lyrics in the songs might get twisted / My wife wears red but looks better without the lipstick." In an interview last year with iHeartRadio's Charlamagne Tha God, Sheeran noted, "I constantly wake up every day with Cherry and I'm just like, 'Why the f--- are you with me? You could literally be with whoever you wanted, and you've chosen me." (More Ed Sheeran stories.)
