After carefully building the suspense as Tony and his family gathered at a diner for what might have been a last supper, the creators of the Sopranos ended the eight year saga into the dark side of the American family psyche without any resolution.

With Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” playing in the background, the screen just went dark. Some thought it a fitting end to one of America’s longest running television shows. Others were angry at the lack of resolution. Hey, it's over: fuhgeddaboutit. (More The Sopranos stories.)
