An incident at a Burger King drive-thru in Tennessee last week has police asking for the public's help. FOX13 reports on a shooting Tuesday at one of the fast-food chain's Memphis locations after a customer apparently didn't appreciate the wait time on the drive-thru line. According to a Friday post on the Memphis Police Department's Facebook page, workers told cops that the "angry" patron climbed out of the passenger side of a vehicle and walked right up to the drive-thru window. At that point, there was said to have been a "verbal altercation" between her and Burger King employees.

Surveillance footage then shows the customer head back to the car, pull out a black handgun, and "extend her upper body through the drive-thru window," firing shots, the post notes. Employees reportedly scattered, unharmed, and ran out the restaurant's back door. "I hate that they were impatient," one man interviewed in the parking lot tells WZTV. "Kids work there." The car the woman was said to have been in was a midsize four-door gray sedan, driven by a male. Cops are asking anyone with information to call Memphis CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH, with a possible $1,000 reward if an arrest is made. (More Burger King stories.)
