In newly released surveillance footage that media outlets are describing as being recorded hours before her murder, Gabby Petito is seen with Brian Laundrie in a Whole Foods grocery store in Jackson Hole, Wyo. The Aug. 27, 2021, footage is from shortly after the couple fought at a Jackson Hole restaurant, where Laundrie also argued with three female servers, on the last day Petito was seen alive. TMZ says there's "no hint of any tension" between Petito and Laundrie in the Whole Foods footage, which is now the last known footage of Petito, per iHeart, but a body language expert who spoke to Fox News Digital has a different opinion.
"She felt very small. You could see it in her whole body language: her shoulders are always more scrunched over, she’s holding herself, her stride and everything," says the expert, who says Petito also appears to be "exhausted" and "scared" in the footage. And though she didn't see anything that would indicate Laundrie was about to murder Petito, the expert says she also didn't see anything positive between them, and it seems like Petito was not happy to be with Laundrie. "It doesn’t look like a close relationship there, a loving relationship," she says. "There’s space between them. There’s no connectiveness."
