Tom Brady's mysterious right foot injury won't be keeping him sidelined for much longer, the New England Patriot vows. Brady told a local radio station that he wants to play in this Thursday's final exhibition game—but even if he doesn't, he insists there's no way he'll miss the season opener, AP reports.

The Patriots' golden boy hasn't taken a single snap in preseason games, leaving all of the lobbing to backups Matt Cassell and Matt Gutierrez. He appears to be fully participating in practice, though—at least for as long as the media was allowed to observe. The Patriots are 0-3 so far without Brady at the helm.
