America's Best-Run Cities

Some cities are run like a well-oiled machine, and others, not so much. WalletHub took a look at the largest 148 cities in the United States to see which city officials were getting holiday cards from their constituents, and which were getting fist-shaking citizens at city council meetings. Using 36 metrics in categories including financial stability, education, health, safety, infrastructure, and pollution, the site put the municipalities through the sorting hat. A number of California cities bring up the rear. Without further ado:
