Paul Undorses McCain, Obama

Ron Paul wants you to vote for a third-party candidate, CNN reports. The failed Republican presidential wannabe doesn’t particularly care whether you back Ralph Nader, Bob Barr, Cynthia McKinney, or Chuck Baldwin—all of whom are declared candidates—but he had no kind words for John McCain or Barack Obama during today's endorsement.

The Texas congressman said a strong showing by alternative candidates would show the popular frustration with the two-party system. "I have no doubt that the majority is on our side," Paul said. The McCain campaign asked Paul for his endorsement, the AP reports, moving Paul to contend that the “two parties are essentially the same.” But the Texas congressman also had sharp words for Obama: "He's not for change," he said.
