Jay Cutler is now officially an inmate. TMZ reports that the former NFL star and ex-husband of TV personality Kristin Cavallari reported to Williamson County Jail in Tennessee on Monday, where he was booked at around 10am local time to begin serving a four-day sentence for DUI. As part of a plea deal agreed to last month, the 42-year-old will also have to pay a $350 fine, give up his Tennessee driver's license, and attend a DUI safety class. Cutler will also be on supervised probation for a year.
Cutler had been arrested in October 2024 after he rear-ended another car in Franklin, with police on the scene noting Cutler's apparent intoxication. Just days after Cutler's guilty plea, the man in the other car, Perry Lee, sued Cutler, with his complaint claiming that Lee "endured physical pain and mental suffering" and "loss of enjoyment of life as a direct and proximate result of the collision," which Lee says was Cutler's fault, per People.
